First, I would just like to emphasize that, while yes, I am in Hawaii, I am not on vacation. I have been here for 2 1/2 days so far and man it’s been very busy! Since I got here I’ve been emersed in Hawaiian real estate, showing homes all over Maui. So far, I have looked at 10 different homes on the island! It has been a total learning experience, and has been very interesting to see the variety of interior designs of the homes! They are unlike any houses that I have seen in Indiana.
Here is an example of some pretty things from one of the houses that belonged to Miss Hawaii of 2012 I believe:
So basically I have been waking up at 6:00 each morning in order to get a run in, get ready for the day, do some school work and then see houses the rest of the day! I have learned so much!
As for the Hawaiian experience, let me list some highlights so far:
- There are flowers of every shape, size and color everywhere!!
- The weather is only about 70-75 degrees and it rains pretty randomly throughout the day. There is always wind because most if Maui is in a valley and gets all the trade winds.
- I got to try shave ice which was really yummy π
I have so much more time for fun and interesting things for the rest of this trip! I can’t wait to see what is in store!
I hope you guys are interested in keeping up with my journey. I really appreciate all the support I get from you guys. Plan on hearing from me soon π Sending aloha (love) in Sienna Sky style!
What an experience! Are you showing houses for fun or school work?
